COMPACT VIETNAM 7-NIGHTS

HANOI - HALONG BAY - HUE - HOI AN - HCMC - MY THO / MEKONG DELTA
START/END: HANOI/HCMC OR VIA SERSA 

Day 1: Arrive Hanoi | Overnight: Hanoi

Meet you at the Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel. At leisure. 
Afternoon you visit the Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Temple of Literature, the Sword Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy water puppet show – a Vietnamese unique art performance of life of Vietnamese farmers, communal entertainment or historical legends. Back to hotel. At lesiure. 

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay | Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner | Overnight: Junk

In the morning toy rrive to Halong Bay via the Red River Delta with a short break on the way. Welcome on board upon arrival Tuan Chau Harbor. Enjoy a welcome drink. Brief introduction by the cruise manager. Cabin check-in. Lunch on board is served while the cruise is sailing and and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Enjoy the cruise program with the beautiful scenery and joining some activity as  kayaking, swiming and visit Halong pearl farm at the Lan Ha Bay. Back to the cruise. At leisure or you may wanr to try the spa and massage services.  Enjoy dinner at the Rosa Cruise restaurant. Join some cruise activities including chat around the bar, watching movies of Vietnamese films, playing cards, playing chess, reading or try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Fly to Hue | Brunch | Overnight: Hue

Early bird to join Tai Chi on the sundeck. Enjoy sunrise at the bay followed by a light breakfast. Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes to explore the cave  one of the most beautiful cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Back to the cruise.  Join in the cooking class guided by the cruise chef with some Vietnamese traditional dishes. Lunch is served while the cruise is sailing and passing by thousand of unknown islets. Disembarkation. Rejoin your car transfer to Noi Bai Airport for flight to Hue. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. At leisure.

Day 4: Hue - Hoi An | Breakfast | Overnight: Hoi An

In the moring you take a dragon boat cruising on the Perfume river to visit the Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the country. Rejoin your car to visit the Tomb of Tu Duc and the Tomb of Ming Mang. Back to the ciity and visit the Hue Citadel. Within the Hue Citadel were located not only administrative and military functions of the Empire, but also the Imperial Residence, the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and related Royal  Palaces. Leave Hue for Hoi An via the Hai Van pass. Check-in. At leisure. 

Day 5: Hoi An & Tra Que village | Breakfast | Overnight: Hoi An

In the morning you have a  walking tour to explore the Hoi An Ancient town with old houses, narrow streets, moss-grown walls, lantern makers and visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Handicraft workshop and enjoy traditional arts performance.
Afternoon you ride by bicycle about 3km from Hoi An town to Tra Que Vegetable village, “the loveliest village on earth”. At the village you can experience of being a farmer, take photos of rice field and vegetable village, enjoy a leisurely walk taking and a stunning sunset or take a foot massage with the ingredients from Tra Que herbs and surround yourself with stunning landscape.

Day 6: Fly to HCMC - Cu Chi | Breakfast | Overnight: HCMC

Again you take an one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh city. This is a city full of surprises. The city’s core is still adorned with wide elegant boulevards and historic French colonial buildings and offers plenty of reasons to visit, from its blend of historic, attractions to vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife. Meet your guide at the Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer to hotel. At leisure. 
Afternoon you drive out to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Around 70 kilometers northwest of HCMC, Cu Chi Tunnel is right near the so-called "Iron Triangle" of Southern Vietnam. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC.  You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Back to hotel. At leisure. 

Day 7: Mekong Delta Excursion | Breakfast | Overnight: HCMC

Meet your guide at hotel for a transfer to My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet, one of the four famous islets. Enjoy the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people. Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Time to get in touch and learn more about local people living and culture. Rejoin your car for transfer back to HCMC.

Day 8: HCMC - Departure | Breakfast

In the morning you visit some famous attractions such as Reunification Palace, Municipal Theatre, City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum and end up at the Ben Thanh market, the city’s biggest market. Back to hotel for check-out follwed by transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure. Have a nice journey home. Thanks for joining us.
